Terms and Conditions

 

1. General

1.1 The Course is exactly 15 hours duration comprising of 3 x 5 hour session across 3 consecutive weeks and includes coursework, assessments, interview skills development, communication skill development and developing your own personal branding.

1.2 All workshop sessions are led by a suitable qualified and experienced Trainer/ Assessor.

1.3 Workshop participants must be onshore and attending the workshop on the days offered. No transfer to other dates or sessions are available.

1.4 Visa holders only – Visa holders are fully responsible for all matters concerning their visa and will not hold Gradability liable for any matters relating to this.

1.5 The Course is considered as professional development and is not a certified or accredited qualification and is therefore not considered study. You will not be provided with a certificate of qualification or a statement of attainment upon completion of The Course.

1.6 From time to time Gradability runs promotional offers or discounts. These will apply to advertised workshop dates only and cannot be applied retrospectively to workshops already applied and paid.

1.7 The Course is interactive and requires communicating on many levels. Participants are required to have suitable communication skills, including verbal, interpersonal and written, in order to be able to participate in and successfully complete all tasks involved in the Ultimate Workshop session.

 

2. Attendance expectations

2.1 100% attendance is required for all three workshops. This will ensure that all participants will receive the maximum benefit from the course.

2.2 All workshops are face to face, no attendance via online webinar or zoom/teams sessions can be organised.

2.3 Failure to achieve attendance requirements will be deemed a “non-completion” of The Course. No refunds will be provided.

2.4 If you feel you will be unable to achieve 100% attendance, discuss this with Gradability prior to confirming your booking in case alternatives are available. Gradability is not responsible for participants that do not meet the attendance requirements and/or have not discussed alternatives with Gradability prior to securing and paying for their position in the workshop.

 

3. “Bring Your Own Device” Computer and Internet Requirements

3.1 Participants are required to use their own compatible device and suitable internet connection to undertake their learning and assessments accordance with Gradability’s BYOD policy and have access to suitable computer and internet capacity/speed to undertake any online components of The Course. Required hardware and software specifications are Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), wireless capacity of 5GHz, Windows 10 with Microsoft Security Essentials or MacOS X laptops with ClamXav 2 Sentry. Further information is provided in the BYOD policy.

3.2 Each participant is solely responsible for the care, maintenance, and use of their own device. Gradability will not be liable for any damage, issues, viruses, or security of student’s own devices.

 

4. Fees, Payments and Refunds

4.1 All fees are paid at the point of booking via the online booking link. No fee payments can be made using any other payment gateway or payment type.

4.2 Numbers are limited to optimize the learning experience for all participants. Therefore, there are no full or part refunds for missed sessions.

4.3 Gradability agrees to refund the original fee-paying party upon receipt of written notice of cancellation from the applicant only in the following circumstances:

  • Where Gradability is unable to offer The Course; or
  • The request is made more than 10 business days prior to the delivery of the first session; or
  • Where Gradability is unable to offer part of The Course, resulting in a partial refund.

4.4 Bookings cancelled less than 10 business days prior to the delivery of the first session will not be eligible for any refund.

4.5 All fees are payable in Australian Dollars (AUD)

 

5. Code of Conduct

5.1 All participants in The Course are expected to actively engage and participate in the learning activities and assessments during each workshop session.

5.2 All participates must undertake the sessions with integrity and honesty, acting at all times to the highest ethical standards. It is expected that all participants interact fairly and in good faith with others, respect differing personal viewpoints, including cultural or religious perspectives as part of a culture which values academic freedom and debate.

5.3 All participants must communicate with members of the Gradability team and members of the community therewith, with consideration, dignity, professionalism, courtesy through all modes of communication, including social media, and written communication.

5.4 All participants agree to use physical property, facilities and resources at the location of The Course responsibly and sustainably, considering the health, safety and wellbeing of others.

5.5 Participants will not hold Gradability responsible for any loss, theft or damage to their personal property while attending the property.

5.6 Participants are expected to respond positively to any lawful or reasonable instruction given by a representative of Gradability. This includes identifying themselves truthfully and producing any required documentation on request by any Gradability representative.

5.7 All participants must protect and abide by the rules of privacy and confidentiality, where this does not pose and ethical or legal issue.

5.8 Gradability will not tolerate any acts or communications that are discriminatory, harassing, sexually harassing, bullying, or engage in any type of interpersonal, psychological, sexual or physical violence.

5.9 Any display of behaviours contrary to clauses 5.1 to 5.8 may results in removal from The Course (with no refund), a report to law enforcement and/or criminal prosecution (in extreme cases).
